Policies
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental time to receive a full refund minus a $25 Cancellation fee.
- Same-day cancellations are non-refundable unless due to documented unsafe weather conditions.
- No-shows will not be refunded.
Waivers
- Every participant must sign a waiver prior to using any equipment.
- Waivers are included in the online booking flow.
- Adults must sign for minors under 18 years of age.
Safety Requirements
- All renters must wear a personal flotation device (PFD) while on the water.
- Rentals will be suspended during hazardous weather, including small craft advisories.
- Renters are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of kayaking or paddleboarding.
Delivery
- Deliveries are available within the Long Branch area and select nearby parks.
- Customers must be present at the drop-off location during the scheduled delivery window.
- Delivery time slots are selected during checkout.
- A missed delivery window or rescheduled window may incur a $10 re-delivery fee.
Damage and Equipment Use
- Renters are responsible for all equipment during the rental period.
- Any lost or significantly damaged gear will be charged at replacement cost.
- Do not drag kayaks or boards on hard surfaces to avoid hull damage.
Check-Out Procedures
- Rented items must be returned by the designated end time.
- Please return gear to the original pickup location unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Staff may inspect equipment on return to ensure it's clean and undamaged.
Cleaning Fees
- All equipment should be returned free of excessive sand, mud, or debris.
- A $10 cleaning fee may be applied if items are returned excessively dirty.
Late Fees
- A grace period of 15 minutes will be honored.
- Beyond that, a late return fee of $25/hour may apply.
Rental Periods
- Rental periods are offered in full-day (up to 8 hours) time blocks.
- Multi-day rentals may be arranged with prior notice.
- Returns after closing hours must be arranged in advance and may incur a surcharge.
